WickedLeak's New Wammy Passion Z+ Smartphone Units Shipping with ...
Indigenous technology start-up firm WickedLeak has begun selling the new batch of their flagship 5.0-inch full HD smartphone Wammy Passion Z+, with the new KitKat OS.
Wammy Passion Z+ was first released in July this year for ₹15,990, with v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. Now the new batch of smartphones will be available with the latest v4.4 OS. Company has reportedly said that the existing customers will also receive the new software update as early as 14 January.
Apart from WickedLeak and Xolo (Q700 in January 2014), no other local players, such as Micromax, Karbonn Mobiles, Intex have officially confirmed the release of the KitKat OS to their smartphones.
The new KitKat OS will bring in a slew of smart features, such as smarter caller ID, more organized message grouping Hangouts (now all text-SMS, audio and video chat will now under one roof), quick access to settings, wireless printing (select printers), Quickoffice word document app, Bluetooth MAP (Message Access Profile) and many more.[To know more about key features of KitKat OS, Click Here]
The WickedLeak smartphone also boasts a IPS LCD display with a staggering pixel density of 443 ppi (pixels per inch) and packs a 1.5GHz MediaTek Turbo quad-core processor paired with PowerVR SGX544MP graphics engine, 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB).
