HTC One smartphone (M8) answers itself
The HTC One (M8) is the follow-up to the HTC One which took out the coveted best smartphone prize at Mobile World Congress this year.
The new HTC One (M8) is bigger and faster and, in a breakthrough in the smartphone wars, has two cameras on the back which, for the first time, allows smartphone photographers to take photographs that mimic the depth-of-field control you have when shooting with a DSLR.
HTC CEO Peter Chou told the audience of 500 technology journalists gathered in New York that "we never stopped challenging ourselves and the status quo in this category".

The HTC One (M8) has Motion Launch which is designed to let you use your phone without having to first unlock it.
Two of the capabilities of Motion Launch are that you can answer the phone simply by putting it to your ear, without having to unlock it, and you can activate the camera by turning the phone on its side and hitting the volume button.
HTC continues with its focus on making metallic phones, taking it one step further than last year's model. The housing of the HTC One (M8) is 99 per cent metal, compared with 75 per cent with the previous version.
It has a 5-inch screen, a 2600mAh battery and runs on a 2.4 GHz quad-core chip.
The standout feature of the HTC One (M8) is the Iconic Duo System. Rather than having one camera on the back of the phone, the M8 has two.
The images created by the combine lens system means, after you take the shot, you can select the part of the image you want in focus.
The HTC One (M8) has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, which is far ahead of its competitor's flagship phones and supporting HTC's claim that this is the ultimate smartphone for cameras.
With rumours that Apple is focusing on health features with the upcoming iPhone 6, HTC has jumped in ahead with the Fitbit app and the ability to track your movement.
The HTC One (M8) also has an infra-red sensor built-in so that you can use it as a remote control for you TV.
It comes with 64GB of storage, plus a micoSD slot that is expandable to 128GB.
Like with the previous model, it has stereo speakers on the front of the phone although the new version produces sound that is 25 per cent louder.
The HTC One (M8) will be available from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone in April.
